My family may be relocating to Sylva this fall. We'll be looking for an apartment to rent and haven't found much online. We're not interested in living in campus apartments near WCU. Does anyone know how to find good rentals? A small house or 2 bedroom apartment is what we're looking for. Also, I would appreciate hearing anything about living in Sylva, good and bad.
Hi I don't live in Sylva or North Carolina, but you are lucky. i would love to move there I like it very much. Have been there several times, it is a little bit spread out, but they have just about everything you could need. A lot of fast food places, other resteraunts, stores, etc. I am not to familiar with the housing. I kknow you mentioned online not being helpful. Did you check the ads in the sylva herald newspaper. there is also a free newspaper for that area called the iwanna. i don't know if they list rentals. but you can access it online. I like their downtown mainstreet. You could also try Waynesville or Franklin, they are not that far from there.
