Hey all, we love living in asheville but we desire to buy some property and buncombe county is just ridiculous with the population explosion so we are looking in haywood and jackson county. Are there any options for schooling besides the public system or religious schools?? Like say a montessori or waldorf type school ? We really like this area but man is it pricing itself out of the game. No one who works here can afford to live here.....and my wife does well but still. Thanks for the help
the only thing I will mention is the mountain discovery school. A charter school in Bryson City which jackson county residents can use. I found that in my research.
