Default White Water Rafting

There an outfitters in Banner Elk called White Water Rafting. They go down The Nolichucky & Watauga Rivers. There is also Wahoo's Whitewater Rafting in Boone. I went down the Nolichucky with them a long time ago. Great river to go down if the water is up this year. Last year because of the drought, you couldn't go down a lot of rivers because they were too shallow. It is fun to just go tubing on The New River outside of Todd. You get on it from the Todd General Store, I think. We have had a lot of rain this year so hopefully it will be a fun year to raft. I hope you can go because it is a lot of fun.

Default Rafting

Here's one I missed in Banner Elk, also, called Extreme Raft & Guide Service. It is across from Sugar Mountain. and another in Boone called High Mountain Expeditions. This should be enough for you to make up your mind. Have Fun

thanks so much- when my son was younger (under 8) we went on a raft trip -it was a family type float trip- very slow and boring- do you know which river it was-we do not want that one. I'll call these places and check it out.
