Can anyone tell me what areas of Asheville to avoid when renting? Also, if there are "good" areas, I would appreciate that info as well. I'm looking for a studio apartment ($600-700) in a safe neighborhood, close to Asheville, if possible, in that price range. I would be willing to live more on the outskirts of town if ther eare good areas to consider. Thanks!
If you're looking at apartment complexes, the rental rates generally tell you how desirable the area is. Are you looking for an apartment complex?
If I were looking for something small I'd be looking in North Asheville or Montford, like a basement apartment, historic home that's been divide up, or a "carriage house" type arrangement. History, character, and close to everything. But since they're all different, I'd HAVE to look at it before I'd rent.
