Hi - my husband and I may have the oppertunity to move to morganton. We have 2 children 10 & 9 / 5th & 3rd grade. What are the area schools like. What do you think of the area?

You can compare North Carolina schools at www.ncreportcards.com. With regards to what you think of the area, it really depends on where you're coming from and what you're hoping to find. Have you visited yet?

Thank you for the link. We are coming from Archdale/High Point NC - about 2 hours away. We are planing a road trip this weekend. We love NC and the area we are in now. It is hard to decide what to do when there are children involved. If were the 2 of us it would be diferent. Anyway thanks alot...
