Hi, we are considering a move to Asheville or just outside, say 20 mins away. Will high altitude baking techniques be needed?

Thanks so much.

A'ville is ~ 2,100 elevation; "just outside, say 20 mins away...", could be lower, or much higher in elevation. My wife is a helluva baker/cook, and does some adjustments on some items, as we are at 5,000 ft. For almost all recipes, there is very little to adjust below 3,500 and esp below 3,000 ft, in her opin.

Thank you for this helpful information. I am so glad I don't have to change up anything... that could've been a deal braker as I don't think I'm up to learning a whole new skill set!

I'm outside of Asheville at 3,200 feet and once in awhile it is an issue but not often.
