I am a single mom of two boys and would like to relocate to the Asheville area. I live in Florida and want to get away from all the hustle. Any suggestions were to live that is affordable (to rent)?
I work in commercial insurance sales and am not reading great things about the area job market. If anybody has any insight into the job market that would help, let me know.
Thanks

You may be looking to rent a house, but I've heard good things about Kensington Place apartments in South Asheville/Arden. A friend of mine moved in there for a year with his family of four, and they enjoyed it. 3 BR units are around $1000/month

Default Apt

Just moved here from S. Fla back in June and the job market is tough. Would not suggest moving into Haw Creek Mews Apts, very disappointed.
Woodlands Hills seems like a nice complex and wished I would have moved there.

newbie to ashville, perhaps you should look at a few of the signs at the city limits, they will say "Welcome to Asheville". (note: there are 2 e's in Asheville)

Ya might want to definitely have a job BEFORE you move here. Seems as if everybody here has experience already for anything they are looking for. Unless you want to work in food service.
