I hope you don't get car sick easily. I got lost in there once and it took me two hours to find my way out and the winding roads were not my idea of excitement. I was sick and headachy once I did get out of the valley area apparently. But then again, I live about 75 feet above sea level.
I think Tourism is about the only industry there. Maybe some local city services, but those jobs are hard to come by in those small municipalities.
I think that would be a great area to retire in, but not sure about the potential for making a living.
I've been pricing houses and they are very expensive.
