I have asked before about cell service in the mountains........ Most said they get the best service with AT & T or Verizon. How about Metro PCS? What about internet? Just trying to get our ducks in a row before our move........thanks for sharing! Donna

Depends on what area of the mountains you are interested in. Verizon has the most towers of any other carrier as far as I know. Never had a problem. If you are going to work in real estate here you will need a very reliable cell phone; and you will still lose a signal here or there because of dead spots in some areas.

Oh Yes.... where ever we end up... I will be a REALTOR. Of course I have to get the licensing, etc. I also have to learn the area. I am an artist as well and very excited about painting new landscapes & seasons............can't wait!! Google "Painted Lady's Gallery" or Google my name "Donna LaConte". There are similar websites, mine is through angelfire. As soon as we are settled I will start painting again........for now it is on hold. I am trying to find the paintings I have here homes before we move.... less to pack. *S* Donna
