Hi everyone,
My family and I currently live in NY. We are looking into moving to FL, in the Boca Raton area. We have a 9 month old baby and school district is VERY important. My brother and his family live in Boca Raton. We recently heard that Wellington is a good area, but that was from a realtor. Is it? Also, how far is it in terms of driving from Boca? The houses look very nice on the internet, but wanted to hear from some of you. Also, we have between 350-450,000 to spend on a home, and it looks like we can do better in Wellington than Boca.

Please, any feedback we would be greatly appreciated!
-Becky

Default Wellington

Wellington is beautiful. We loved it. The Schools are excellent. We moved due to relocation to the Orlando area in August and still have a house that hasn't sold. My brother-in-law lives in Boca and I personally like the Wellington area better. The taxes, gas etc is much cheaper. As for distance. Depending on where in Boca it is about a 20 min drive. Hope that helps.

Boca and Wellington both are beautiful areas with nice schools. However given a choice I would pick Boca since it is much more established and has more authentic charm where as Wellington is a suburbian town with newer houses. I like Boca because it is more central... so you can easily commute to Broward or northern parts of Palm Beach (if and when needed). Not to mention beach is also much closer than it is from Wellington... Just my two cents!
