I really miss The Crab Pot. What a shame they sold out.
Anybody remember Joey's on Singer Island or The Greenery on Singer Island? Joey's used to have Reggae Sunday back in the 80s.

Southern Blvd. back in the 60's and early 70's, fairgrounds were open fields for weekend concerts, bands like Deep Purple, Three Dog Night, Papa John Creech, The Guess Who, they all played there.
Great times, 3 day events, rain or shine. Only $6.00 got you in, "legally" others just came and hung out. There were no real boundaries, these were open fields.
Miss those days
Hey does anyone remember a place out there on Southern just west of where Jog Road ended, called Music Casters, it was a dance club for teens, it had paddle boats and canoes, and was only open at night on the week ends?

6 Flags, in Dania at Sterling road, Dolphin Cinema at 10th and Congress, Remember the Barefoot Mailman in the PBM??
Lake Worth Drive In was bought by a collector of Drive Ins, I am sooo relived.
I remember Drive Ins everywhere, I used to work at the Delray Drive in as a kid.
There was the Boulevard, in West Palm, The Skydrome in Lake Worth on Dixie Hwy, The Trail, in west Lake Worth, and Delray Drive In, in Delray of course.
The Skydrome blew down from hurricane David.
Does anyone remember the "Bahama Smokehouse" in delray??? Great food at Great Prices, and how bout "Mama Rosa's" on Hypoluxo Road???
Really miss those days

WSHE died in 1995 (and started in 1971), it was replaced by some attempt at alternative music programming and it wasn't that good and that failed not soon after. It went through several incarnations after that: disco, rap/urban R&B, etc but I think it may be a latin music station now. It's heyday was the late 70s and early 80s when they had Sonny Fox and all the big DJ names back then. There was also K-102 (with the Kangaroo) which eventually became an oldies station. WPB had WZZR which was heavy metal/hard rock until about 1997 or 1998 when it died.

You talking about the one under the bridge at Blue Heron??? That was a great place.
How about Dante's Den, just south of Briney Breezes, on A1A, and The Gipper across from the beach on A!A also, in Delray???

I think half the merchandise in the whole mall was of a Scarface theme. I was kind of sad when I left.

I used to love Peaches on Okachobee back in the day too -I bought lots of cassettes there.
When did AJ Gordon's close? I used to love going there when Truc of America was playing-talk about fun!
Also I used to love Maurice's in Palm Beach. The bartender was Benny and he was a wonderful guy.He moved to the bar at The Heart of Palm Beach Hotel long before it got revamped-mid 80s. Was the Heart of Palm torn down recently?
Remember The Greenhouse?
You should remember Dante's Den, Truc Of America, used to play there a lot on Fri & Sat nites
