Hey gang,

So i need to pull the trigger on a place and would prefer buying versus renting. Been doing some googling on locations and finding some good information.

I'd love to move to Jupiter due to it being a combination of West Palm Beach and Port Saint Lucie....not too big, but plenty to do. I believe this is my ideal location. Family town with convenience of things being close, but not being overcrowded. Good all around location.

PSL has been given a bad rap for nothing to do, but there seems to be a little shopping here or there and some local bars and restaurants. Homes are extremely cheap and you can buy a lot for little money. Privacy would come easy since its spread out. But it as really boring as certain people make it out to be? What are the best spots in town?

West Palm Beach would be a good fit as well since I think the home markets would recover faster here and in Jupiter versus anything invested into PSL. omes seems to be priced around Jupiter and sometimes in between Jupiter and PSL. More lively entertainment with more things to do. Definitely more crowded. Can you still have your quiet back yard privacy? Can this still be family oriented?

I am 29 year old single male moving out here for work. I value my space and privacy and going out here and there. Kind of settling down and took an opportunity at work that is requiring me to relocate. Not looking to party every night lol. But want to make a good investment in a home for whenever this market recovers without sacrificing the essentials I need. My two passions besides my work and dog and being a fixer upper are cars/auto racing and photography.

So here are some questions: Are my brief assessments correct? Where would you recommend given the areas and housing markets? Any recommended realtors?

Thank you everyone,

Tim

What type of price range are you considering? Jupiter seems to be a good fit, but can be pricey, especially compared to PSL. I live in the Abacoa area and really enjoy it.
I work the Jupiter/WPB areas if you need help feel free to contact me.
