Why did you not become a pilot instead of becoming an aviation mechanic? To me that would be quite boring because you don't get to fly the planes.
Or do you not like flying?
I enjoy the engineering side of the industry, i just find it very interesting and I'm constantly learning. It's also very good money and I see my wife and daughter every day, it's perfect for me really.
Don't get me wrong though, being a pilot would be cool, it's just not for me. I'd much rather work on the aircraft.
I know a lot more about the aircraft than the pilots do too, so its nice to share that with them, although some have a decent knowledge anyway.
In fact, next week I'm teaching 6 pilots about hydraulics and briefly, flight servicing. Should be interesting!
My next door neighbour is so rude and rare. He stopped speaking to us after christmas all of a sudden. Then I go outside there now to watch a ryanair plane and turn around to see him about 100 yards away staring at me! No harm but after you not speaking to us for months and dropping us like that, why the hell would I bother!!!
I can't be arsed with my dad anymore. Hes always moaning, groaning, nagging and shouting!
Tight as hell aswell. Just last night he got at me for leaving the light on in my room. "I don't want to spend money and waste energy".
When I got the chance, I left home and lived on my own. Everything is how I want it to be, no compromising or annoying people nagging me to do things.
