Yeah what patrix is incorrectly referring to is that Germans make up the plurality of the American population. Irish-Americans make up the largest single British Isles group

Irish American = 36 million
Scotch irish American = 3.5 million
British American = 40 million

i thought America was "more Polish" Polish American - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia but its only 9.5 million as of 2010. but i know that Pierogis are really popular is some states, and polish food is almost unknown for British people

English, Scottish, Welsh thats all British isnt it?
so it's 40 million british + 36 million Irish = 76million from British Isles ... but irish is not UK so yeah theres more "Germans"
