Record cold temperatures have arrived in Fairbanks. Tuesday's
low temperature of 35 below eclipsed the old record of 33 below
for that date. This morning the Airport recorded 39 below which
was short of the record 41 below for this date. Temperatures
through next week will be below normal and all below zero. The
following are low temperatures... as of 9 am... for this morning
around the area.

Eielson AFB -42 uaf -37
Smith Lake -49 goldstream -38
Salcha -41 Delta junct -19
Fort Yukon -44 Manley hs -44
