The low temperature for July 8 at the Jackson Evers international
Airport was 77 degrees. This ties the previous record high minimum
temperature for this date set in 1998 and 1953.
And the low this morning was 79, so that's surely another record broken. This summer has been the most relentless one I've ever experienced.

It was 48 when I got up at 6am. The highest it got today was 72, sunny all day and perfect for working in the yard and a late afternoon bike ride.

Well, it was still 88 degrees at 1:00 a.m. Geez! This place should be taken off the map.
