Well, looks like snow is moving across our nation and even Dallas may be having a very white Christmas with 1-3 inches of snow predicted today or tonight. How about your area? Will you be having a white Christmas where you live?

It will be a white Christmas in Buxton, Derbyshire. For southern midlands and south of England, no.

It won't be a White Christmas in NYC/Long Island (unless the leftover snow doesn't melt), we're supposed to be in the 40's/50's with rain. It would've been a White Christmas if it was cold though.

Light rain and 37 F/3 C.
Following days show a marked cooldown though with snow
and perhaps by early-Jan, dangerously-cold temps. (highs at 15F/-10 C or colder)
