So many of us under a Winter Storm Warning.
Waiting for any Blizzard Warnings to be issued. They don't issue Blizzard Watches anymore.

Here in NY on long island we are supposed to get about 12 inches possibly more. I already planned to work from home tomorrow. I have my snow guy on standby to dig us out. No way are hubby and I risking a heart attack trying to dig out.

Impressive how far south it reached into Virginia. So many of the more typical east coast storms turn to rain somewhere around Fredericksburg/60 miles south of DC.

Cape May NJ turned to rain.

Here's a look at the crucial 5000' temps. Finally seeing that warm air having a hard time push north and the cold air holding on. As the trough swings in and the storm ramps up the warm air will push north more

Central Park, NYC biggest snowstorms on record. Current forecast from local NWS is 18-24“, which would break into the top 10, possibly top 5

Bit slick and slow out there, but it was a satisfying ride. Took some pictures. Now I'm walking around with my gridded sneakers. Already have an inch or so of accumulation here.
