Looks like the snow is widespread in Wyoming, but in Colorado you'd have to go into the high mountains for it. Denver and Boulder just look rainy (and who doesn't love a day in the mid 30s with cold rain).

39F in Colorado Springs with rain predicted until at least 4PM. I guess they think as the sun sets maybe it will get cool enough for snow? But today just a cold rainy day. The soil definitely needs rain though.

Denver is 36F right now, they had a mix of snow and rain but the snow melted as it hit the ground. I'm sure the furnaces are cranking as are fireplaces but no snow accumulation.

The Panhandle of TX is mild. Amarillo is 54 on the way to 66. Low tonight is 37 with heavy rain expected. Next two days sees rain but nothing lower than 40 as a low. Good rain event though! The soil moisture is low, this will help with that. Then it's mid 80's next week, the heat returns.

Weather is unsettled in Austin. It's 81F with showers, dewpoint is 73F, quite muggy, these showers are humidity from the Gulf not a cold front type mid latitude system. Tomorrow will be a steam bath with dews in the mid 70's and highs approaching 90. Then the "cold front" brings temps in the low 80's and rain and humidity. Almost laughable. This weekend will be sunny and 91, I will be at the lake. Summer continues in Texas.

Currently Here in Downeast, Maine 80F Degrees, Dew Point 66F Degrees, Winds - SSW 4mph, Gusts 8mph.. Partly Sunny

Holy Crap! Brothers whom I left in Oregon (when Beloved and I moved to Downeast, Maine five years ago), had to evacuate this morning due to wildfires! Ya - I grew-up in the Foothills of the Cascades (SE of Salem, Oregon)! Still waiting to hear they're ok (and confirmation, though I heard it crisped the entire Canyon along Hwy 22 going east)! Never seen anything like it - Stunned

From 90s and Triple Digits 2 days ago to 30s and 40s today.
#RecordCold #EarlySeasonSnow

Current temp departures for the hour.

Widespread 35-45 below normal temps from Texas Pan Handle to Northern Plains. Normal is near 80F this afternoon and they are struggling past 40s. Wow

46 in Amarillo but 79 in Lubbock. That's where the front is.

Mexicali near the US/Mexican border hit 50.1C today

On the other hand records were shattered for low and low max temps in the Plains today

Chilly few days here with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s but might be seeing a warm up for the last part of September

Seems like we are going to see a pretty decent La Nina event. Moderate to strong in intensity so we should probably get used to these wild swings in temps as winter approaches

Front just passing through Missouri. Kirksville at 55, St.Louis at 82 (but down from 88 early in the afternoon). A bit surprising almost we haven't seen a ton of severe weather with a cold front as powerful as that.

That blue won't happen in FL. 90's until late Nov.

I saw some weird cloud formations in western PA today while driving. There was a mix of low clouds and high clouds. I wonder what weather phenomenon happened.
