9:15amEST Radar with storm reports. Use the metars over Long Island. Radar shows snow but it's mixing or lightly raining in Islip right now. Still too light. Couple hours things will pick up

And it begins here. Flakes are tiny which is weird for March.

Winds picking up here. Feels like a storm now. Roads just wet. 0.2" snow so far.

5:50-9:50amEST loop.

Moisture rotating around that Upper Low. Atlantic moisture feeding in as well but the coasts are struggling to be all snow...for now.

It's been snowing for about 3 hours. There's no accumulation in downtown Durham, but Hillsborough and East Durham had about 1/2" as of a couple hours ago. Stupid UHI ruining my snow totals!

Snow has picked up considerably.

I was given the option to leave early but I think I'll stick it out.

I work in north Rockville, MD which is about 30 miles south of Frederick, Md and about 25 miles north of Washington, DC.
