It is nasty but knock on wood it seems like the wind is starting to die down. It looks like it is moving out of the area.

A large one at that. Upper Low just closed off over it helping it spin more and look pretty. I haven't had time to even look at my twitter feed but I know Eastern New England is getting slammed. Trees, wires down, blizzard conditions, coastal flooding.

Here's a look at the history of this storms path. Pretty neat link to save from the College of Arts and Sciences. Came from off the Georgia coast, started teasing the mid atlantic coast by jogging NorthWest towards it, then made the turn NE as the northern Jet stream caught up. They should add Pressure points along this line. 972mb right now. Intense storm

Very neat!

We are feeling the effect 300 miles inland, I've gotten some NASTY squalls today. Whiteout, sunny, whiteout sunny. Picked up about .5-1" inch of snow, then it starts melting, snows again etc. Going to be hard to figure out how much has actually fallen

Falmouth, MA Police posting tweets of roads. Check out feed. Every station should do this for their town. Very helpful.

What it looks like under that eastern band.

Southwest of Boston, north of Providence. Woe! Rapid accumulation.
