7:51am temperature map, it is colder in "tropical climate" of Northwestern Paraguay(2C) than in many parts of Patagonia this morning
None model showed all this cold to this part of Paraguay, probably some moderate frosts there, which is strange since they have a tropical climate according to Koppen..
About the upcoming cold blast in Patagonia, Gfs 06z meteogram for Rio Turbio, cold enough?

Thanks for the image. Good stuff.
Looks like freezing line at 5000' will reach about -36S with another blast coming in next week. Southern S.America stays in the cold sector all week. Cold southerly flow! (feels so weird to say. )
