Yup in Miami it must be after a relentless summer, but in Nice I'd rather have it. It means 20°C+ lows into September and the potential for awesome storms, one of the few things a weather enthusiast will get excited about down there.
I feel you guys. Honestly after having spent the early spring in Paris I can definitely say that I prefer it here compared to Nice. The Mediterranean sea really is a nuisance in spring. Actually they should build a foldable wall along the shore. It would be up from December to May, and down from June to November. No one needs the sea in winter and spring anyway.
Looking at temperature maps of Europe I see areas downwind from the Baltic stuck in the 30s in the mid-afternoon while other locations mere kilometers from there are in the upper 50s. Same in France, I see places in the 50s a couple dozen miles from locations posting temps in the upper 70s. Maritime influence can be a you-know-what.
Yup, it's annoying as hell. Nice seems to have a very slow spring warmup, altho it's not as much of a problem since the winters themselves are incredibly mild
It just sucks that the temp stays closer to its winter plateau than its summer one most of the year especially in spring when winter temps are right within the "blah" range whereas summer averages are first class.
