63 and cloudy with a 48 dew. Winds are picking up with 30 mph gusts...maybe some rain coming?

Looks like 68 will be today's high. It alternated between clouds and sun for most of the day...pretty nice and near average for late May. If the low of 58 holds, it will be the second warmest of the season.

Latest Euro 12z for this area. Long stretch of single digit temos at 850mb. #NoHeat Maybe we'll end May below normal after all but still not like it was before those 3 hot days

Sun angle is too strong to be enjoyable today with temperatures in the low 70s outside. I miss those lower sun angle pleasant spring and summer temperatures at northerly latitudes. I was sitting in a parking lot with all four windows down, and it was still too uncomfortable. After this extreme aggravation I will be taking a trip way up north in a few weeks!

For those of you in the North that are not familiar with the southern sun angle this time of year, it is horrid. I can't enjoy being outside because of the strong sun and dry air. The strange thing is that more humidity mutes the sun, but I would prefer cloudy weather this time of year most of the time.

Kind of November-like here too today. It hasn't gotten past 68F. Periods of rain throughout the day; I have 0.40 inches so far. There hasn't been any thunder.

Looks like the heavy rainfall has failed to materialize here.
