Upper Low now over the Pan Handle. (Cold Pool of Air). Snowing in Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado. I'm seeing 4-6" reports in Oklahoma. Crazy

Look at the severe stuff overnight on the right side of the Low! Flooding rains. Thunderstorms. Tornadoes. High Winds.

Crazy stuff, the Texas Panhandle is known for it's wild weather though, and that snow will eventually
make it's way up to northern Ontario.....even in northern Ontario locals aren't crazy about
getting snow in late april/early may.....they want spring too, but it is more "normal" for them
than for northern Texas.

Just measured 3.67 inches in my gauge from heavy thunderstorms during the early morning hours! Quite a bit of lightning.

Hope garden isn't flooded too badly.

I was thinking about that. Everyone even Canada just wants Spring now. I felt the same way in March. Luckily it wont last long this time of year but I can imagine the locals in Texas and Oklahoma this weekend. They probably lost some fruit trees, crops, branches?

Here's this mornings Atmosphere Set up & 850mb temps. Looks like an Omega Block.

Just great, Bastardi thinks eastern US will see coolest May since 2008...

Far south suburbs in the warm sector today. City is not....

Deluge of rain continues. Look at Illinois and the Midwest. 10"+ over next 2 weeks?? Probably means cool summer.

Least amount of drought since US drought monitor began in 2000... Looks like on Southeast will be in drought and in for a hotter than normal summer.
