I know Newnan; that's the hometown of country-singer Alan Jackson.

Wow, 20 F sounds pretty cold for early-November in Georgia!

Toronto's average temperatures for early November is maybe 48 F in the day, 34 F at night.
We don't usually see nights below 25 F until mid-November in the city, even this far north.

We don't get as much heat-island effect here because the winds are hardly ever still, plus our annual average of 55-60% of the sky being covered with cloud would help keep temperatures more uniform.

it was a freak cold snap, our average low for November 8(which was when this happened), is around 40 or 41, and the low where i lived was 24F,it was actually close to the record low for that date.

I'm glad you brought this thread back up.

I had voted for "the same as usual". We ended up being well below average many of our summer days. Summer was extremely short this year, too.

Our summer was below normal too, which I did not like. Summer is my favorite season in SD and it was just a little too cool and cloudy compared to usual.

The same as always here in Texas.

HOT

Although, we have experienced an early cool down here in September, today and tomorrow are in the low 90s (still below average I believe), it has been in the low 80s for many of the last several days and this weekend it will return to those temps.
