BBC is absolutely awful.. terrible journalism here.. just so many errors in this article

Mild, wet December breaks Met Office weather records - BBC News

First of all, how would a mean temperature of 8C feel like May? Down here that is lower than our average min for May, even in the midlands it would be more similar to March than May

Then further down, it mentions mean temperatures for England topping 10C this December, when in fact many places have been higher! Ours will be about 11.6C for this month, and southern coastal areas will be the same or higher Added to that, just read this:

England saw mean temperatures top 10C (50F), compared with an average 0.5C (33F) for December.

Since when does anywhere in the UK have a mean of 0.5C for December (except for Owen's hill maybe)

It's amazing how useless this country is when it comes to reporting weather events and getting facts correct

That's such ****ery.

I'm working today 4 PM-2 AM (I'm an Uber driver, and we make BANK on New Year's eve.....up to $70 an hour!) but I'm buying me a bottle of Southern Comfort before I go out, and bringing it to my house and getting ****faced when I get home with some friends.

I thought you worked at that pool repair shop . Anyway, working as an Uber driver seems more enjoyable and more profitable. Or do you do both?

Nah, I quit that job back in late October. I've just been doing Uber since, it's much better and I work on my own schedule. Plus, you meet some pretty awesome people.

I got absolutely no ****ing idea why there there were no midnight fireworks here, there was the family fireworks at 10pm so wasnt because of a total fireban or anything to do with the hot weather. ****ing pissed because you can see it here and wouldve been a good show. Some mutha****en nazi labor MP with their socialist anti fun brigade I bet.

Alex, give me your job.
