Idk what it is but its always happening to me. You can see it better now! A minute ago there was a portion of the sun reflecting back up to the clouds.
LOL@ the way sunlight is shining in a line in the first photo. I actually think it looks neat. I think the problem is there's a window intervening.
LOL I noticed that as well!
If he is using an iphone 6 then it shouldn't be that bad.. open the window and take the photo maybe, I have an iphone 5 and they always seem to be good quality whatever the distance
Unfortunately, no. I think the bulk of it went to the west of me (left side of the picture). Lots of rain and wind, however. Was short-lived though, only lasted like 15 minutes. Was sunny again when I got to Miramar.
Lots of convective clouds around me right now and wind is starting to pick up. Maybe some more action.

Most of my photos on the Spring Photo thread were taken with an iPhone 6
Update: June 4: Thanks to the one of record warm but dry May, everything got a head start. I'd rather have a warm start and a cool Summer then a cold start and a warm summer. Beginning is very important to garden..
All Tomato plants have blooms on them. Some are fruiting. Campari and Farmstand.
Exciting! Mmmm. Pickle time soon.
Onions
I like my herbs in pots. Easy to get to on the deck
A test? I added Straw to the 2 rows of Tomatoes on right. We'll see which rows do better or same
From Left to right. Fava Beans, Eggplants, Bell Peppers, Onions, potatoes. String Beans in back. Eggplants NEED HEAT NOW. They are so picky!!
BTW... there's 2 Tropical Plants in the last picture.
Grapefruit and Banana. Don't know why I waste time, no tropical plant survives here. Even if brought inside. (which is a pain if you have a lot) My Lemon, Key Lime and Avacado didn't make it.
They do look cool to have. And I had to see how it looked in the snow so I brought the Banana outside just for a picture. This was Feb 2014
I wonder how far north I would have to go for a midnight sunset? Maybe Iceland.
Reykjavik 12:05 am at the latest, sunrise 02:58 am at the earliest
