Hurricane Wilma in October 2005, it was a Category 3 when it was coming over us (was a borderline 3/4 when it made landfall about 80 miles west of us).
That was in October (late October) so I remember we got a cold front after. Dropped into the high 50s/low 60s for a couple of mornings after.
What's ironic is I believe we got affected by Sandy as well when it was on its way up there and it got chilly for a few days after as well. Fell into the mid 50s for the couple of days before Halloween.
I had higher gusts than Miami or Ft. Lauderdale because I was further west (was right in the eye wall for a while) as you can see, Opa-Locka which is further west had max gust of 105 mph. Where I lived at the time there were unofficial reports of 120 mph wind gusts.
Effin Bullsit! Don't care about the dews anymore. Tired of seeing 80s with a hot sun!! Only 3 days the max stayed under 80 this month. THREE!!!! 2nd least on record. Last year was 13.

WTF? I swear we're in a thunderstorm hole here. Just had a strong storm pass to my east and to west. WTF man?!!?!? just another day in Lexington Gardens.
The max temp in Leeds has been higher than in London for 4 days straight. London reached 20C or above only once in the past four days while we've only failed to reach 20C once. London has seen significant rainfall every day this week, while we have received any rain at all on only one.
A North-South divide, but in reverse.
