looking at the forecast the period of heat has been extended but really isn't all that hot just 2-3 degrees above average each day which means highs around 92 to 93. yesterday was forecast at 97 we only made It to 94 today the forecast is 95. looks quite stable with this heat each day almost identical to the last so I imagine this July comes out somewhere in the range of 91-93 degrees for average high.

A lot of juice in the air this Monday

Fewer 90 degree days this decade, but trending to more 80 degree days (at Midway)

In 2012 we had 25 days above 90 degrees to date... Miss that summer

Going back to the recent snowfall in the Sierra (California). This animation shows why it happened. Low brought moisture and cooler air [usually moisture is blocked from reaching California in July]

We have yet to get a low below 22.8°C/73°F this month. Long sleeves are certainly of no use here in summer.

you wearing shorts or no shorts? I've heard shorts are less popular in Europe, but it appeared people adjusted their clothing for the weather there.

You should go to the central part of South Carolina, it's going to be near 100F where I'm staying tomorrow. Then 95F in Daytona Beach on Sunday.

It's going up into the 90's even right on the beach. Water felt good while swimming earlier, but I can tell it's warming up too. At least the AC in the beach house is nice and cold.
