haha, I wanted to say there is no permanent snow pack in Cfb with snow on the ground with weeks and months in a row and no longer period with daily average high temps less than 0c. But possibly that there were such conditions in western Europe eg in 17th century- that old painting shows something http://lh4.ggpht.com/_8qCc9U2HG90/SZ...painting1a.jpg

Looks like a cold snap. Such conditions were more frequent, but most of the time the landscape wouldn't have looked like this even back then.

It was probably similar three years ago in this location close to where the painting is from:

Yes, I believe as well that Netherlands and western Europe were within Cfb even back then.

Apparently President Obama owns a beach front property. I guess he's not worried about Sea Level rise with Global Warming/Climate change... No "fear" there.

Oh wait.. The fear of sea level rising is more for 20+ yrs from now. Since when can we predict past 10 yrs? Lol

Now where is my ocean front property in Arizona?

While warning us of ‘rising oceans’ in SOTU, did Obama just buy a beachfront mansion? | Watts Up With That?

Global warming is dead. I don't think anyone cares about it anymore. Word is getting out that it's a ploy to raise taxes.

Yeah. One of the warmest winters on record... again. And one of the warmest years ever... again.

Note to you: it's Global Warming, not CONUS Warming.

The poster you just responded to lives in a location (Los Angeles, CA) that had the warmest winter on record, beating the previous record of the winter 2013-2014. Continental US overallhad an above average winter.
