I've heard the weather is quite brutal in Wyoming much of the winter. Maybe that's why there are more people in the city of Denver than the entire state of Wyoming!

I've driven through the Tetons in far west WY and that part was beautiful in summer.

I believe Sheridan never saw more than 7" before the 20th of Sept. Most this early was 1.7". They got a foot of snow! 12". I will update some #s in the morning .. still snowing in Wyoming.

Sheriden, WY never saw more than 1.5" in a day before September 12th. They got 13" yesterday! AND .... The most snow they ever got in all of September was 12.7" in 1984. Thats since 1904.

So if official they broke monthly September snowfall total too..

Just not sure if the 13" was at the SHR station. We'll see/.
