Ah thanks, that is a good site, far better than anything the MET office produces..

Looks like the storm hit Heathrow a bit later than me.. but it was about 90% humidity from that chart

I like how I can read a many of the buttons and menu items on that site, little difference from Spanish. Like Point de rosée is punto de rocío

Yeah, quite different from the German site Wetterzentrale (though both of us understand at least some German IIRC). For me Italian and Catalan are easier to read than Spanish, even though I don't understand anything when a Catalan speaks.

Since it's the happy thread, 92°F with a 70°F dew point atm in Monsouris. Heat index of 98°F.

My older sister lives in London and tells me about all the storms and heat down there! Sounds like that's the best place to be in the country if you like real weather. Might move down I think.

That's exactly how I feel with Portuguese. Looks almost the same as Spanish in written form, but I can understand **** all when it's spoken. Might as well speak Russian to me, because that's what Portuguese sounds like to me

It's really not that much better than up north.. we still don't have particularly great summers

Although just finally hit 30C for the first time this year.. now it's a question of how high, still a few hours to go

I used to live down there don't forget and had to move due to circumstances. Believe me it's a massive difference.

It's pretty much the difference (at least in Buxton) of "no summer" to "half decent summer". Our altitude doesn't help matters either.

I just looked at the current temps in England, wow what a difference between London and Buxton. 19°C vs 26°C. Sometimes I wonder if you live in Buxton or Melbourne hard to tell sometimes
