A broiler in the Central Valley this weekend

By next weekend a good summer-like pattern for the Midwest and east

Usually we don't see 90s until after June 21. Looks like we might get close on Tuesday here in Denver. I'm just glad lows still get to about 53.

I'm at 73 with DP of 51. In the direct sun its hot but overall its beautiful for June. And even in direct sun what a difference when its dry! Usually I can only take a few minutes of the sun without getting drained, today much longer.

I like 70s when its not humid which felt rare around here recently. I don't prefer this weather but I am glad its not 80s or 70s & muggy!

And the cherry on the cake....

taken today in gothenburgs archipelago. micro-tornadoes aren't exactly unheard of in the coastal areas here, but they're not very common either.

Wow, nice capture!
Very black cloud that. And the funnel is very visible.
Seems there is another, small funnel to the left..?

First heatwave on its way to Germany, especially the southern and eastern parts will see highs well into the 30s (C), with possible peaks up to 36-37°C/ 97-99°F on Monday and Thursday.

Here at the coast it will be more temperate with highs just touching the 30°C mark.

Hottest day will be probably Whit Monday here. Chart shows 2 m maximum temperatures in Celsius according to the GFS Model.

Wow if that holds up even Hamburg, Berlin, and/or Frankfurt am Main may see their first 90F/32C before New York and even Philadelphia do...
