The only downside is that the strong wind is causing a lot of rip currents along the coast

But I'm more than willing deal with rip currents since I won't b at the beach today .
Yes, beautiful period of weather in Miami. This is the one time of year I prefer it to Tampa, which is a good 6-8F hotter all this week.

Latest Euro says for Northeast the dewpoints stay below 60 until 25th then after the 25th they rise into the 60s and temps rise towards 80s excluding New England..

Here's what the Euro12z says for next Wednesday the 28th max temps and dewpoints.

Then after those couple days of heat it looks like a strong push from the north knocking dewpoints back down into the 40s.

I would totally disagree that we have been above average.

Storms expected somewhere near tonight. Looks like there will be energy available. Spot with a lifted index of -10 NE of Paris:

But the convergence zone is now seen 100 km west of my position. Looking good for storms in eastern Normandy and Picardy, but not here:

Hard to believe right now (it's grey, drizzly and 13.9°C at noon), but the model has 25°C with a 19°C dp for Paris tonight:

Maps from there: http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/wrfnmm.php

Impressive wind shear atm. Low altitude clouds move fast from east to west, whereas on satellite loops the main flow is SSW-NNE.
