Didn't have my choice...

Free flowing lava with lightening and meteor strikes.
Planes falling from the sky would be cool as well.
Who needs video games?

You'd rather have a video game than a plane falling from the sky with your family on board I guess.

Sunny with no wind and temperatures in the low 60's (~16 - 18).

The last option, but I'd also like a warm and sunny tropical day.

29 F & overcast with constant 50 mph winds and gusts reaching 90 mph at the coast followed by an arctic cold front setting up a record breaking low of -23.4 F . It also effectively kills out all of the thugs in Newark.

Tropical warmth for sure. The worst sunburn my son ever got was on Christmas Day. It was December and we did not really think about the suntan lotion. We learned after that.

I don't even like tropical warmth in summer, so that's out.

B) If I can't have snow, I prefer cold rain all day. A high of 50 F/10 C and a low of 39 F/ 4 C and steady rain falling all day.
I despise winter cold rain - too much like a typical ruined Christmas in America. Next...

C) If I can't have snow or subfreezing temperatures, I prefer a sunny cool day with a high of 50 F/10 C and a low of 37 F/ 3 C.
Too warm at night, and too maddeningly close to the real thing.

D) If I can't have snow, I prefer mild to warm and sunny day with a cool night. Clear skies with a high of 70 F/21 C and a low of 46 F/8 C.
Too warm at night, again.

E) If I can't have snow, I prefer a crazy diurnal range with a hot day and cold night, clear skies with bone dry humidity. A high of 90F/32 C and a low of 36 F/2 C and dewpoints at around 0 F/-18 C throughout the day.
I think I would go with this - it's far too hot during the day but it has the advantage of adding tons of extraneous weather interest and not being close to the real thing.

F) If I can't have snow, I want warm tropical rain and a thunderstorm. A high of 81 F/27 C and a low of 70F/21C. Day starts off with sunny skies and things get progressively cloudier after 11AM and the thunderstorms start at around 2PM and then just steady warm rain falling all afternoon through the night.
See my response to A.

I'll take the cold rain.

I don't mind rain on Christmas. I'm not a fan of sunny weather Christmas day. Gloomy and dreary, whether it's cold or mild is more important to me.
