15% of the forest around Christopher Lake, SK also came down due to wet snow (of course a lot more than that probably was affected as they are just counting what occured along trails):

Here it is.. qpf output from the latest GFS and EURO. Which do you believe and if you were a forecaster how would you forecast this???

Picking one spot here...

GFS says .60" liquid of all snow for NYC = 4-6" snow
EURO says .22" only of all snow for NYC = 1-3" snow

Yes this can change but this is how different the amounts can be even a day before. Glad I'm not a forecaster. Choose the middle ground is always safe sometimes. So I would say 3" for NYC tomorrow

How much snow fell in that area? Was that snow before the big cold snap? I'm kind of surprised that heavy, wet snow fell in Saskatchewan recently.

I hate when the jet stream dives in the winter or the summer for that matter. It needs to find something else to do with it's time.

Fortantly here in Atlantic Canada there's only suppose to be 10cm and after that nothing in the outlook, except for very cold weather. Hopefully it keeps this way or warms up as long as the snow keeps away.

Upton has not posted even advisories for Long Island or CT. But Notice where the Winter Storm warnings are. I'm getting flashbacks of 2009-10 winter where everything staying south of me.

That's ice advisory down in Northern Mississippi
