Hmmm it was around -17 C at December 2001 in Serres. That month was really cold for Serres because we had a daily mean of -2 C and heavy snow for a month. But I can 't remember the feeling I was 8 years old so maybe I was inside my house. The coldest I experienced at my walk was -11 C in 2012. Really cold!!! I wore a Tshirt, a long sleeve top, a light jacket and a heavy jacket with scarf and gloves and jeans. I was feeling again very cold and I didn 't feel that I had ears. :P I felt pain in my face and my hands. :/
-10,4 C° in January 1985, considering the latitude it's a bit disappointing but the nearest city is probably one of the most continental in this are of Italy so other location will probably have a higher all time low.

29°F/-1.7°C on a couple various days through the last 15 years. Highly unusual too as Phoenix is in Zone 10A, normal coldest low of the year is around 35°F/+1.7°C
Coldest low I have experienced since living here is 6C/43F & that was last winter, which was the coldest for 25 years & had a new record low for December at the airport... The record low in this part of Malta is likely around 3C/37F or 4C/39F as the record low inland at the airport is 1.4C/35F...
