I LOVE warm evenings, even hot evenings, but maybe part of that is because they only happen 20-40 days a year here.

To me it isn't hot until the air seems like a blow dryer and wearing long sleeves almost seem like a health risk, so about 95 F with or without humidity usually (barely) does this. 94 F to me just feels VERY warm and possibly sticky, but not without the blow-dryer like heat, working outside in that weather is never a significant health risk... at least for myself.

*FYI, it's still Spring in Toronto... leaning towards late Spring.
It seems like summer might actually arrive the second week of June as I'd randomly predicted last week.

** I just saw southern Ontario's summer "forecast"; warmer and drier than average.
(once it actually gets here )
Sheesh, you and me couldn't be anymore different. 95 is just flat hot to me, it was in the low 90's and humid today and walking out to my car this afternoon was a chore. This news lady tonight said she hoped the weekend would be hot. My question is, what is so much better about 95 compared to 85? CC has got to be the only person on this planet who feels a chill at 85 I love cold weather but I'd take 20 over 10 any day.

i love cold weather also, and I gotta admit, when they forecast a cold snap, and predict a low of 15, and the low is only 20, i'm usually a bit dissapointed, are you the same??

sunny,54 in central Minnesota.

Beautifull sunrise at 5:31 ( sunset at 8:58). There is an advantage of living in "the north" in summer and that is longer days.

They are predicting 80 for today. If it happens, that would be the --FIRST--80 degree day of the year.

I can not remember a year when it was this late and we hadn't had a single 80 degree day yet.

I can not sleep well at all when the low temperature is above 65-70F at night.
You would sleep well here about 330 nights a year here with a normal summer.
In with a long hot summer, still you'd sleep well at least 250 nights per year.
In a cool year you'd sleep well 350-355 nights a year.

Is that much different than where you live in Kansas?

Rough...
Myself, I'd never describe walking to my car a chore unless it was below freezing... or I'm underdressed and it's below 55 F.

Funny weather-lady...

95 F and 85 F are both good temperatures;
both feel distinctly summer-like, none are hard to manage, but 85 F is better if I'm working hard outside.
Actually, I can feel a slight coolness at 84 F, but usually not at 85 F.

*I've said I prefer partly 90's F because most of the time when Ontario is in the 80's F, it's still only low 80's F. High 80's or low 90's is almost the same to me on the other hand.
