We had to make a quick trip over to eastern Wisc. and it was kind of chilly and damp there. Actually, our entire trip going over was solid rain. We were lucky and missed any storms that were out there. It looks like Ia. and Neb. got hit pretty hard.
We came home at the perfect time~it's a beautiful 81 degrees here. FINALLY it may be springtime.
Oh my goodness, that's awful!! It's a little better than that here, but not enough to brag about

Tonight: Generally clear. Low 73F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph.
To me that's a nice, (what I'd like to be) ordinary summer day, not hot at all.
I know you still don't like those temps, but considering you're in Texas that seems pretty mild for summer weather, plus with the 12 mph you have a nice, fresh breeze so you won't feel any humidity.
To "I Love North Carolina".......hello here from Calif. One of my Quilter-Friends moved and bought a home in Waynesville, NC. She has friends there too, plus here two nice dogs. She couldn`t afford to buy a house here in So. Calif. Property is totaly out-of-sight !! She was also a Calif. Native. We keep in touch by e-mail along with some of the other Quilter`s from the Guild. The rain storms we had here, have gone East. We even had a tornado that touched-down and overturned several empty Box Cars. That was in Marino Valley, just past the heart of Riverside. The locals there could`nt hardley believe it ! It caused other damage too. No one got hurt to my knowledge. The weather seems to be really crazy lately. Good Luck out there, Barb F.
ILNC and DX, you would love it here. I haven't seen anything over 75* or below 64* in a long time. Only 67* right now.
that's too monotonous for me actually, i like variety which is why i want to move somewhere with a more solid 4-season climate than here, than 6 months of hot and humid weather
