Wow, what an amazing couple of days going on right now.
According to my local channel, Rapid City hit 64 yesterday and that's exactly what Tampa hit according to weather.com Today Rapid City is supposed to hit 57 (or higher) and Tampa is only supposed to hit 52.
It's 23 with a windchill of 16 right now. They think we may actually hit 40. But unfortunately, by Thurs. night a cold front is moving in again.
OK, so I decided to use local numbers instead of weather.com numbers. Right now according to Kelo, it's 39 degrees/no windchill. Weather.com has us listed at 31/27 windchill. Also, our local station is predicting Rapid to get into the low 60s today. If I didn't have to work, I'd be making a little road trip.
27ºC / 81F at 6:20am with gale force northerly winds.
what's surprised me is the dewpoints are in the low-high 60's, normally in this type of setup they are in the 30's!
It's also very gloomy with what appears to be smoke and dust haze!
