With help from our rare sun the temperature reached a warmer than expected 6.1c/43f. What is a bit strange is how this sun we are getting is in the middle of a depression (993mb currently) whereas our high pressure spell early month gave prolonged cloud.
Richard, I'm happy for you!!! You seldom get to report that the sun is shining. Actually, that'd be kinda depressing for me.
It's 39 degrees here with a windchill of 28. Our winds are 24 to 31 mph. Now if this was what our winter was like, I could deal with it. It actually feels 65 degrees warmer then it did one night last week.
26.8f degrees, light snow falling, and a light wind. Another 5 " of snow last night so I took a nice 3 mile snowshoe walk then shoveled - think I'll take a nap now.
