It wasn't nearly as cool as they first thought it would be today It was about 38 when I got up around 9:30, but it warmed up to 50, tomorrow we warm up to about 65, but at least it's been nice at night all week, around 35-38. I hope you get some cool air tonight!

Redmond is 15 miles NE of Bend, so it is pretty much in the middle of Oregon. Redmond is flat, although it is surrounded by mountains. It's a very hot place in summer.

Elevation is 3000 feet.

Ahhhhh...it's flat....that explains the pretty wild temperature fluctuation today!

Is it an arid place?
