Congrats ILNC! I'm very happy for you. My mother lives in Pasadena and she didn't like the snow, go figure. I'd trade places in a minute. It will get down in the 30s for the first time this season here, but for now:
48 °F / 9 °C
Clear
Windchill: 43 °F / 6 °C
Humidity: 33%
Dew Point: 20 °F / -7 °C
Wind: 13 mph / 20 km/h / 5.7 m/s from the NNW
Pressure: 30.25 in / 1024 hPa (Falling)
I've been loving this so far, but once again short lived.
19C / 66F at 8pm, with a fresh wind coming directly off the world's coldest ocean to boot. Can't wait to dig in to those hot chocolates and marshmellows on christmas
Kind of a strange morning, but I'm not complaining. My expected high for today was 38, but when I got up at 7 am, our temp was 48. It's dropping now though.
And the southern part of our country is pretty wild again today. La. and Ms. just had tornadoes Tues. (?) and now they're having snow.
Jammie I think this is the first time it's colder where I am than where you are! I am loving this, but like someone said, it will over too soon
Currently in Houston, TX
Fair 36°F
Feels Like
26°F
Dew Point: 22°F
Humidity: 58%
Pressure: 30.10 inches
Wind: From the Northwest at 16 gusting to 26 mph
Up to a scorching 4c/39f for todays maximum temperature. Now back down to 3c/37f.
Still crystal clear skies again, making a good run of such days, a rarity for this time of year. I bet we've already had more sunshine hours this December than Melbourne
What's weirder is that we are in a "cold spell" by English standards but still at least for now warmer than Houston, TX. Now that's weird.
