Much cooler and less humid weather with plenty of rain after the dullest August (a.k.a Augloom) on record with 116hrs dawns the beginning of Autumn here in the UK.Some stormy weather just now with a nice turbulent gust front on the leading edge.

You should develop a method to capture this kind of weather and recycle it from December through April. You'd make a mint. It's only 89° here with a feels like 94 so I'm not venturing out. The trip out to the mail box was enough for me. I have the deepest sympathy for construction workers and maintenance, etc workers in the heat. The older I get the more it bothers me.

YES! Our overnight lows are supposed to be down in the 40s so I've got at least 20 degrees of coolness to spare. I'd love to send some of it your direction. Even though we woke up to high 50s, the cool, strong winds made it feel SO cold. It was a 40 degree difference in "feels like temps" from yesterday. Not sure what it is right now, but I doubt it's even hit 70 today.
40s???? PLEASE send some this way...we'll be lucky to get down to 80 tonight here . I would LOVE to have 40s in the earliest part of September
