It's not going to be that bad. I survived being in the eye of Hurricane Rita a Cat 3 storm,for nearly 6 hours, now that was scary!!!!!

Thanks. I believe we have some much needed rain, hopefully not a lot of flooding, of course it all depends on the exact landfall and direction it takes. One good thing is that it's a small storm.

don't worry ILNC, when I go out for a run later, I'll take like 3 bottles of cold water with me

right now it's 95 with a 109 heat index...................................

YUK!!!!!! Take it easy in that heat!!!!!! There is an eerie calmness outside right not, not a leaf moving.

Currently 84 but humidity is high for here. It's mostly cloudy and only supposed to reach about 100 today, hopefully a storm this afternoon. Had a lot of lightening last night but that was it.

Calm so far today in my neck of the woods in Ma. Probably in the high 70's with mixture of blue skies and clouds with a nice breeze. Felt falllike this morning which I loved. Does your demeanor change when it becomes fall? I feel more alive that time of year.

partly cloudy and 77 with a dewpoint of 64. This is PERFECT weather to me, I love upper 70's with a little humidity. I hate being stuck inside on days like this when the beach is a few miles away from my work.
