Just had the rainstorm they been promising for days now...it's like the first time it's dropped below 80 in weeks!
Of course every time it rains here my stupid computer connection goes out with it...
I'm back from Dolly... we watched the storm from a Marina on Port Isabel. We left right before landfall as the storm was taking too long to move ashore and flooding became the greatest concern.
But, I didn't leave without a major dose of winds.
We picked the safest area to camp out.... where the media is lol.
I had about 5 or 6 different interviews, I don't even know all the news stations.. but here are the San Antonio ones:

LOL, StuckPA, If it helps any, it's 34 and overcast in Barrow, AK and about to snow
Anthony, glad you made it back safely! I'd find it exciting to see a low category hurricane, too.
I think we hit 82 degrees yesterday. Today it doesn't look like we've made it to over 71~not when I saw the updates anyway. It's been raining off and on all day and the rain is kind of chilly again. SOMEONE is hoarding all the nice warm weather again.

Haha... well the media was camped on a marina next to the bridge that links you to South Padre Island. We were witnessing storm surge first hand and getting the brunt of the winds. How much better does that get?
It's 96 here with a humidity level of 21%, dewpoint of 51. Still no rain.
But, we're hoping to maybe catch a few remnants of Dolly sometime in the next several days.
Of course with the change in temp there's gotta be a storm that knocks the satellite and internet out...
