Wow, 940 great to see you again!! You are so lucky to be out of Texas! I look forward to the day I can get out of the heat! How do you like it there? Hey don't forget to check in on your old friends duke and doll lady, yes they are still together!
It was 98° at my house in Bristol, Tennessee (northeast Tennessee) on Tuesday. We have been in the mid to upper 90s for days now! NOT as hot today... "only" 89°. We have also had terrible severe and damaging thunderstorms over the past two days.
Currently at 12:20am, its a muggy 70°, with a 70° dewpoint (100% humidity).

hey, I know how you feel, the heat index here yesterday reached 113, the actual temp was 103
well, today we "only" reached 96, and right now it's 74 with 86% humidity
Very hot, humid, and sticky all day in North Jersey and then around 8pm a downpour, lighting storm, and power outage that was crazy and came on quick. But we needed the rain and it is suppose to cool down things here. Tomorrow will be 86 degrees. Better then 96-100 degrees. Have my windows open right now for the cool air that the rain brought. Oh, I just know the summer is going to be hot, hot, hot!!!!
It's a beautiful 69 degrees here at 7:30. The winds are blowing pretty hard, but that's not unusual. 22 mph gusting to 34. Our predicted high for the day is 72 so we're still a bit below the avg. which is 80 for today. It's ok though. It's pretty nice outside.
