I was trying to distract myself from thinking about 45 F being a "cold spell" this time of year, especially when we only hit 45 F every 3-5 weeks for one day. That and 45 F is still cold enough to present me with difficulties, even though it's "exceptionally mild" here.
Obviously, I'd much prefer to live somewhere 40's F, 50's F, 60's F or maybe even 70's F means a cold spell in winter.
The coldest climates that interest me are still considered subtropical.
A steamy 62 in Rapid City today with near 70 temps to the south of us.
Back in the upper 30s by Sunday and Monday though....
Haha! I've also noticed that TWC always has to mention Atlanta! They give an extremely detailed forecast for Atlanta then say, "By the way, warm in LA this weekend.... Back to Atlanta!"

Four hours east of Danny's house~it's 42 with a windchill of 35. I doubt that we had hit 40 yet when you posted.

Yeah. They make me mad. The only city they talk about is Atlanta. "It's snowing in Atlanta" "It's cold in Atlanta" "It's gonna be warm in Atlanta" "Atlanta's in a drought" "Atlanta got rain"..."Oh yeah and people have died from the below zero temps and snow in the mid-west, there's a heatwave in SoCal, several other places are in a drought, it's raining in Northern California."..."Now let's go back to Atlanta where it's a beautiful day."
Once in a while they'll mention NYC in the morning. I've never seen them say anything about Boston, Dallas, San Diego, Vegas, Portland, SLC, and rarely they mention Phoenix, LA, SF, Detroit, Chicago, and Miami.
