Warm temperate, moist forest here. Humid, I think.
And I understand why some want to kick DC/NYC/etc. out of "subtropical" (), but Orlando?

true but koppen already does that. putting Philadelphia and Washington in the same zone as SW F. I think middle ground could be made by making another category called semi-tropical that uses the current definition of sub tropical but raises the bio temp requirement to 18c. then sub tropical could be liberated from the frost requirement while needing a bio temp of 18c. Then finally warm temperate would just be a biotemp of 12-18c regardless of frost. beside that I think the system is accurate.
According to Holdridge, Rimini, Italy has a warm temperate climate and lies in a semi-arid and dry forest zone.
I think it's a good definition.
According to Koppen, it's humid subtropical.
London lies at the boundary of dry forest and moist forest. The natural habitat outside of London is a mix of pine forest, oak/beech forest, and heathland.
Hold on a minute, I'm not convinced the map posted by tom77falcons is the end of the story. There are other maps out there that have a different interpretation like this one:
Here there's clearly a gradation with the US North East and mid-Atlantic and South East all in different zones.
Kharkiv is on steppe/moist forest borderline, right? According to life zone classification system which is used in former USSR, Kharkiv is on steppe/forest steppe borderline.
